Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

I was in Vancouver in Dec 2002, and I simply _loved_ it. It very much resembles San Francisco - beautiful landscape, water, mountains, mild climate. It is also an outdoorsy city. I had the pleasure of riding the following trails.
  1. Seawall
This is a popular trail (all paved) b/c it goes through the city, and lot of people use it for commuting. I rode the 'south seawall' along the 'false creek'. you have nice view of North Vancouver (downtown).

  2. Stanly Park
Another popular ride. The trail is paved. I rented my bike from Wheels and Spokes. They only give you a mountain bike or cross. Reasonable price, CA$20/day or so. If you go up the highest point (Prospect Point) of the park (north end), you'd be rewarded with a real nice view of Grousse mountain and vancouver city.
