at interstate 92 & 280,

Option 1 - between Hwy 92 & Edgewood Road (8miles round
trip)
During summer Sundays the 4 miles section of Canada road
between 92 & Edgewood is closed for vehicle traffic. Just
bikers / joggers / roller-costers ! Nice ride with slow rolling
hills and cool views of a reservoir and fog rolling down hills.
When the road is closed water is available at both ends. Also
REI - San
Carlos sometimes has a SAG vehicle to fix bikes.
Option 2 - upto Woodside road (15 miles round
trip)
If you can ride Canada road beyond (south of) the Edgewood
road, you will come up to the intersection of
woodside road (
map). You can turn back or continue onto the
loops You'd see this intersection buzzing with lots
of bikers.
Roberts Market at the
intersection is popular place to have deli lunch.
Option 3 - Mountain Home Ranch Road (20 miles
loop)
cross Woodside road and continue onto Mountain Home Road
